e-TEP Scoring, CEFR Levels, YDS Equivalence and Validity brings the current official structure together with the practical actions a candidate should take. e-TEP is ÖSYM’s computer-delivered four-skill English proficiency test. It measures reading, listening, speaking and writing in alignment with the CEFR, with particular emphasis on educational and professional language use.

Current official framework
ÖSYM publishes a one-way e-TEP-to-YDS equivalence framework. It does not mean that a YDS result can automatically be converted to e-TEP. Confirm the purpose, minimum score and validity accepted by the receiving organisation.

- Record overall and section minimums plus policies on MyBest, OSR, equivalence and validity.
- Convert mock performance only with official tables or an official scoring engine.
- Distribute all four skills across the week, with regular production for Speaking/Writing and timed evidence work for Reading/Listening.
- Prioritise the weakest section that is also critical to the application requirement.
- When the score report arrives, verify name, date, product type and delivery method against the application file.
- Replicate e-TEP conditions such as single playback, microphone use and integrated sources in practice.
